Introduction
LiFE RPG 2.0 turns your real life into a game. To make it feel immersive, we use special “game words” (gamified terminology). Don’t worry if this sound unfamiliar, think of them as simple nicknames for different parts of your life.
Below, you’ll see what each term means and how it connects to your daily use.
Here's a simple explanation
Growth
Growth is about building good habits.
Every time you practice a positive habit (like exercising, meditating, or reading), your Character and Skill gain EXP (experience points). These EXP points help your character grow stronger.
Fight
Fight is about challenging your bad habits.
If you give in to a bad habit (like smoking), your character loses HP (health points) and your Skill loses EXP. The idea is: the more you fight back against bad habits, the healthier your character becomes.
Growth Objective
This is where you set a clear target for a habit.
For example: “Reading, 3 times this week.”
When you complete it, you earn EXP and Coins as a reward.
Personal Objective
This is for bigger personal goals in life.
For example: “Lose 5kg in 90 days.”
Once you set a goal here, you can break it into actionable steps inside the Stage · PARA module (so the big dream turns into small, doable steps).
Stage & Quest
Think of these like “stages” and “quests” in a video game.
In real life, these are your projects and tasks. You’ll manage them inside the PARA Dashboard.
Skill
A Skill is like a category of learning or improvement.
It connects directly to the PARA Dashboard. For example: “Design,” “Fitness,” or “Cooking.” Each Skill can be leveled up as you gain experience.
Market
The Market is where you reward yourself.
You use the Coins you earn to “buy” rewards you’ve set up.
Example: “Spend 200 Coins to treat myself to a nice dinner” or “Spend 500 Coins to take a weekend trip.”
Activity Log
This works like a diary.
It records all your actions today so you never forget what you did, and you can look back at your day anytime.
Financial Vault
This is a Finance Tracker.
Here you can:
Record your income and expenses
Track your budget
Set financial goals
Example: “Save $800 by the end of the month.
Energy Station
This is a Sleep Tracker.
Log your sleep hours here, and the system will analyze your sleep quality from multiple angles to help you improve rest.
Social Hub
This is a Relationship Tracker.
Every action you take with friends, like sending a gift, or adding their social media, gives you Social Skill EXP, which represents your relationships growing stronger.
RPGenie · Tavern
Imagine a virtual tavern in a fantasy RPG.
Here, you become the “Game Master” and create NPCs (non-player characters).
These NPCs (powered by AI) can give you random daily tasks and rewards based on the theme you set.
Don’t like a task? You can delete it.
Want better tasks? Give your NPCs new instructions.
This way, the AI stays fun but flexible to your real needs.
Important Terms You Must Know
Character EXP
This is your overall experience points.
You gain EXP from many actions, and when your total EXP reaches a new threshold, your character levels up and may earn a Rank Badge.
Character HP
This is your health points.
If HP drops to 0, your character is considered “dead.”
You’ll need to hit the Respawn button to restart.
⚠️ Warning: Respawning resets your Character EXP and Coins back to zero.
Skill EXP
Every Skill has its own mini-level.
For example, your “Fitness” Skill may be Level 3, while your “Design” Skill is Level 5.
Doing actions related to that Skill earns Skill EXP, which lets you level up that specific Skill.
Coins
Coins are the in-game currency of LiFE RPG.
You earn them through Growth, Quests, and Objectives.
With Coins, you can reward yourself in the Market, whether it’s a real-world reward (like buying a new keyboard) or a fun activity (like taking a 2-day break).
Money
Unlike Coins (which are virtual), Money refers to real-world currency.
Example: If you want to reward yourself with a keyboard, you’ll need both Coins and actual money to purchase it.
Note: The term “Money” only appears in Finance Tracker modules. Most other modules only use Coins.

Character EXP
In LiFE RPG, Character EXP (Experience Points) is what makes your character grow stronger.
Think of it as the “life energy” that shows how much progress you are making in real life.
You can gain EXP in many different ways inside the system. Below are the main ways to earn it, explained simply and clearly.

Ways to Earn Character EXP
1. Deep Work Session
Inside the Stage · PARA → Deep Working Dashboard, you can track your focused working hours.
For every hour you spend in deep focus, you earn a set amount of Character EXP.
Example: 1 hour of deep work = 50 EXP.
This amount can be changed in your settings.
2. Task Completed
When you complete a Task inside a Project, you earn EXP based on the Project’s reward.
The reward is divided equally among all the Tasks.
Example: If a Project has a total reward of 300 EXP and contains 3 Tasks, each Task will give you 100 EXP when completed.
3. Growth (Good Habit)
When you check in a good habit (like drinking water, meditating, or exercising), you instantly receive EXP.
The amount of EXP per check-in is adjustable in your settings.
4. Habit Goal
In Goal · Boss Fight → Growth Objective, you can set a target for a habit.
Example: “Exercise 15 times before December.”
Once you achieve this target, click Claim · Close to collect the reward, and you will receive the EXP you set for this goal.
5. Financial Goal
Inside the Financial Vault → Financial Goal Dashboard, you can set a money-related target.
Example: “Earn more than $1,000 from YouTube before December.”
When you reach this goal, click Claim · Close to finalize it and collect the EXP reward you set.
6. Mood Journal
Every time you write down your day in the Mood Journal, you gain Character EXP.
The amount of EXP per entry can be adjusted in your settings.
Example: 1 journal entry = 20 EXP.
7. Brain Dump
Some tasks may not belong to any project. In that case, you can add them to the Brain Dump.
When creating the task, you choose its difficulty level.
After completing the task, the system will reward you EXP based on the difficulty you assigned.
The reward scale can be adjusted in your settings.
Using Character EXP
Once you have earned Character EXP, it helps your character grow in two ways:
Level Up
As your EXP increases, your character levels up step by step. Higher levels represent your growth in real life.Rank Badges
When you reach important milestones, your character receives a Rank Badge.
These badges mark big achievements and show your long-term progress.
Character HP
In LiFE RPG, your Character HP (Health Points) represents your life force. Just like in a real game, when your HP runs out, your character "dies" and needs to start again. Managing HP is very important, because it shows how well you are avoiding bad habits and keeping balance in your journey.

Ways to Gain HP
1. Starting Value
When you first begin playing LiFE RPG, your character starts with 1,000 HP. This is your full health bar at the beginning of the game.
2. Respawn
If your HP drops to zero, your character is considered dead.
You can revive your character by clicking the Respawn button on your Character Card.
When you Respawn, your HP resets back to 1,000 HP.
However, your Character EXP is reset to zero.
Your Skill EXP is safe and will not be lost.
3. Marketplace Recovery
Inside the Market → Reward → Hotel section, you can choose to "stay at a hotel."
This action costs Coins, but in exchange, your HP will increase. Think of it as resting to recover health.
Ways to Lose HP
1. Fight (Bad Habits)
Every time you check in a bad habit (for example, smoking), your character loses HP.
The amount of HP lost per bad habit check-in can be adjusted in your Settings.
2. Overdraft Penalty
If your Coins drop into the negative, you will face a penalty.
A notification will appear asking you to Settle the debt.
Once you confirm, your character loses HP equal to the negative number of Coins.
Example: If your Coins are -500, you will lose 500 HP.
By default, the system checks for this penalty once per week. You can change the frequency in your Settings.
Character Coins
In LiFE RPG, Coins are your in-game currency. Think of them as a treasure you collect while improving your real life. You can earn Coins by completing tasks, achieving goals, and keeping up with good habits. Once you have Coins, you can spend them in the Marketplace to reward yourself, just like in a real video game.

How to Earn Coins
1. Task Completed
When you finish a Task inside a Project, you earn Coins. The amount of Coins is divided equally across all Tasks in the Project.
Example: If a Project has a total reward of 300 Coins and contains 3 Tasks, each completed Task gives you 100 Coins.
2. Habit Goal
Inside Goal · Boss Fight → Growth Objective, you can set a target for one of your habits.
Example: “Exercise at least 15 times before December.”
When you complete the target, click Claim · Close to finalize the reward. You will then receive the number of Coins you set for that goal.
3. Financial Goal
Inside the Financial Vault → Financial Goal Dashboard, you can create money-related goals.
Example: “Earn more than $1,000 from YouTube before December.”
When you reach this goal and click Claim · Close, the system will reward you with the number of Coins you assigned to it.
4. Growth (Good Habit)
Whenever you check in a good habit, you instantly earn Coins.
The number of Coins per check-in can be changed in your Settings.
Example: Every time you work out and log it, you might receive 10 Coins.
5. Brain Dump
Some tasks do not belong to a Project. For these, you can place them in the BrainDump.
When you add a BrainDump task, you choose its difficulty. After you finish the task, the system rewards you with Coins based on the difficulty level you set.
The reward scale can be adjusted in your Settings.
How to Spend Coins
Once you have earned Coins, you can use them in the Market · Reward Module. This is where the fun begins.
1. Marketplace Section
Spend your Coins to reward yourself. Rewards can be real or virtual. For example:
Buy yourself a new keyboard
Treat yourself to fast food
Take a 2-day holiday
Plan a trip to Japan
2. Hotel Section
Spend Coins to recover Character HP by staying at the in-game hotel. This is like resting to regain health in a role-playing game.
3. Black Market Section
Use Coins to recover missed good habit check-ins. If you forgot to log a habit, the Black Market gives you a chance to make up for it, but it costs Coins.
Skill EXP
In LiFE RPG, every skill has its own level. To make a skill grow, you need Skill EXP (Experience Points). Think of it like watering a plant: the more Skill EXP you give, the higher that skill grows.
Each Skill is connected to real-life areas of improvement, such as Fitness, Video Production, Writing, or Social. By completing actions linked to these areas, you feed the skill with EXP and increase its level.

How to Earn Skill EXP
1. Habit Goal
Inside Goal · Boss Fight → Growth Objective, you can set a habit target.
Example: “Exercise at least 15 times before December.”
When you achieve this goal and click Claim · Close, the Related Skill (in this case, Fitness) will receive the amount of Skill EXP you assigned.
2. Task Session
Skill EXP is also tied to the Project that your Task belongs to.
Example: You have a Skill called Video Production, and under it, a Project called Create a YouTube Video.
Every Task you complete in that Project will reward Skill EXP directly into Video Production, because that is the Related Skill.
3. Project Completion
Every Project is linked to one Related Skill (Area).
When you finish the entire Project, the connected Skill (Area) receives the amount of Skill EXP you set as the Project reward.
4. Growth (Good Habit)
Whenever you check in a Good Habit, the Related Skill you set for that habit will gain Skill EXP.
The amount of EXP per check-in can be adjusted in your Settings.
Example: If “Meditation” is linked to the Health Skill, every check-in gives that skill EXP.
5. Energy Station (Sleep Tracker)
Logging your sleep in the Energy Station gives you Health Skill EXP.
Every sleep entry rewards you with a fixed amount of EXP. The amount can be changed in your Settings.
6. Social Hub (Relationship Tracker)
Every action you take inside the Social Hub rewards you with Social Skill EXP.
Examples of actions include:
Giving a gift to a friend
Attending an event with a friend
Writing a note for a friend
Exchanging social media contacts with someone new
These actions grow your Social Skill and also affect the Social Hub Leaderboard. If you want more details about the Leaderboard or Social Hub features, you can check the Social Hub page inside the Resource Page.
How You Can Lose/Use Skill EXP
1. Fight (Bad Habits)
When you check in a Bad Habit, the Related Skill you set for that habit will lose Skill EXP.
The amount of EXP lost per check-in can be adjusted in your Settings.
Example: If “Oversleeping” is linked to your Health Skill, logging it as a bad habit will subtract EXP from that skill.
2. Level Up Your Skills
Each skill has its own level. Gaining enough EXP in that skill raises its level, showing progress in that area of your life.

Once you achieve this target, click Claim · Close to collect the reward, and you will receive the EXP you set for this goal.
5. Financial Goal

Example: “Earn more than $1,000 from YouTube before December.”
When you reach this goal, click Claim · Close to finalize it and collect the EXP reward you set.

7. Brain Dump
